Over the next 5 days, we will take you on a journey through the most important milestones in our company history to celebrate our 40th anniversary in style!
Let’s start with a look at our beginnings: On 01.07.1983, the two experienced entrepreneurs Eckardt Wagner and Eckehardt Preuß founded prewa Verpackungsmaschinenbau GmbH. Their many years of experience in the tubular bag packaging machine industry was the foundation stone for this exciting company. The name prewa was created from the first letters of their surnames (PRE from Preuß / WA from Wagner).
Initially, our premises were in Biebertal/Rodheim at Karlstraße 21, but it soon became clear that these were not sufficient, and on 15.05.1987 we moved into a new building in the Großen Busecker industrial estate. Over the years, we have continuously expanded our company and increased our capacities through several extensions.
We are proud of our path and the progress we have made together. Thanks to the commitment and passion of our team, we were able to become what we are today.
